using bucket as temporary tank for shrimp & frogs? do i need air stone?

hi

i have to treat my tank for algae; i didn't want to, but this is what's it's come to. the stuff i got says it will kill shrimp, so i am using one of my 5 gal buckets and extra heater to hold them until i'm done treating the tank. i wasn't sure about frogs, so to be on the safe side, i thought i would take them out too.

i have some fake plants and the heater in there. i'm wondering if you think i should put an air stone in there too, even though it will prob bother the frogs -- but at least the water would be moving around? i have an extra filter for a 10 gal i could try to use but i don't think it would hook on the side of the bucket

thoughts?

i think the air stone would be a good idea. If it bothers them too much, leave it on in intervals, not all the time, just enough to provide oxygen. (:
