Question about viewing functions in Excel 2010?
Sometimes when I enter a function, instead of seeing the answer/result, I just see the typed-out function. So if I have a cell and I say =SUM(B2:B15), instead of the number, I just see that exact text written out?? This happens occasionally, and I have had to copy and paste into a new workbook or something and finally get it working... but what is happening so I can actually fix this issue when I run into it?
Thanks
3 AnswersSoftware6 years agois it too late to plant summer bulbs or should i just wait until next spring?
hi. i bought gladiolus and acidanthera bulbs on sale. the bag says to plant them in the spring but it's only july so was wondering if i planted them now if that would be better than leaving them dormant all year and planting them in 9 months or whatever. if i planted them now, do you think they would bloom? thanks

19 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agodosing aquarium chemicals?
hi
i'm about to add this algae killer to my tank and want to be sure about dosing. it's says to put 1mL of chemical to 1gal of water. i have a 55 gal tank but it didn't take 55 gals to fill, because of the density of my decorations. so should i under dose by a little? like 4mL maybe? or do they expect me to put 5.5?
anyone out there know about this? i'm going to start with 4 and then depending what i can gleam from here, will adjust accordingly.
thanks for your help!
1 AnswerFish1 decade agousing bucket as temporary tank for shrimp & frogs? do i need air stone?
hi
i have to treat my tank for algae; i didn't want to, but this is what's it's come to. the stuff i got says it will kill shrimp, so i am using one of my 5 gal buckets and extra heater to hold them until i'm done treating the tank. i wasn't sure about frogs, so to be on the safe side, i thought i would take them out too.
i have some fake plants and the heater in there. i'm wondering if you think i should put an air stone in there too, even though it will prob bother the frogs -- but at least the water would be moving around? i have an extra filter for a 10 gal i could try to use but i don't think it would hook on the side of the bucket
thoughts?
1 AnswerFish1 decade agoif global warming was real, would you care?
let's pretend for just a moment that GW were shown to be unequivocally real and happening, would it affect you at all? would you want mankind to make changes to his behavior, or put into place measures to counteract a natural phenomenon? or do you think we should just let it go and do nothing
also please state (yes or no) whether you believe it already -- i'm most interested in people who say 'no'
thanks

1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agowhat is best source of water to fill your aquarium?
Hi.
I'm starting a new aquarium today, and I bought this stuff that says it removes nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, chlorine and chloramines. If I treat my water this stuff, can I use tap water to fill the tank, or should I use bottled spring water or what is best?
Thanks
