which lemon law state would this fall under Florida or Virginia?
okay, so as not to get complicated I will try to shorten it up. My friend purchased a brand new Harley in Florida. He lives in VA and the motorcycle is registered in VA. Since he has had the motorcycle he has had it in the shop a total of 11 times
1. replacement of oil filter, ring sealing
2. replacement of fuel pump
3. replacement of switch kit, brake lever, rotor mount, rotor kit front,
4. brake pads
5. rear brake pads
6. 1 cover, master cyl w/gasket & CVR MSTR CYL FRONT
7. ring sealing, oil filter w/ o ring,
8. rear brakes
9. brake rotor, brake caliper, crush washer
10. fuel indicator, fuel pump
11. hydraulic piston & cylinder, o ring, crush washer,
he purchased the Buell 1125r new Feb 1, 2009 and the bike began going to the shop 3/7/2009
at this point it seems like this brand new motorcyle is a lemon but under which jurisdictional lemon law could it fall under Florida(where it was purchased) or VA where it is registered and continually serviced. It was under warranty but the warranty was for 18 months from the time of purchase.
any advice?

Florida lemon law would apply but because of the time limit in reporting the problem, he may not have a case at this point. Check on the Florida Lemon Laws. You have a certain amount of time to report a lemon.
