Anyone know the meaning of the idiom: "Are you standing on one leg?"?

I think it's a Yiddish expression, but I'm not sure. I have searched online and idiom dictionaries, but I can't find this one.

It means "Are you in a hurry?" as if the person has one foot up, ready to take a step.
