Tdap Vaccine vs Walgreens?
Im 17 years old starting my senior year in highschool and this new law came out this year saying that everyone going to 7-12 grade the following year must get the Tdap Vaccine or else they will not be able to attend school the following year.
Unfortunately for me I haven't got the shot yet.
I saw a huge banner the other day hanging from the ceiling at my local walgreens mentioning something about the tdap shot.
I was wondering. Will walgreens administer the Tdap shot to me.. Like will they inject it into my veins. or will i have to go elsewhere. And if so do i have to schedule an appointment.

Quick jab in the fleshy part of the arm. Feel free to get it there - keep the sheet they will give you for the school records.

A vaccine is injected into your muscle, not your veins.
Get a copy of that law and read it. You are in CA. You can get an exemption if you want. I do not know if walgreen's will vax you without your parents' permission, but stranger things have happened.

Some supermarkets do offer vaccinations. No vaccine isn't given IV. They have to be given IM, or subcut.

If you don't want it, you can get an exemption and you'll be allowed to go to school:

You DON'T have to get the shot if one of your parents signs the Personal Beliefs Exemption form.
