Can someone please answer this?
Why do people ask questions about God but refuse to read the bible or accept what it says? Are you fulfilling bible prophecy? For God's word says at 2Timothy 4:3-"For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled." Are you looking for people to tell you what you want to hear instead of listening to the truth?
God is sounding a warning to us all.
Another bible prophesy being fulfilled, many would not get the sense of the bible because they refuse to accept the bible as Gods word and not man.
Amy: That's my point exactly many feel justified in believing what they want to believe. They wouldn't know the truth if it slapped them in the face. The truth is being preached today throughout the world by God's faithful followers. But the sad part about it is that people have turned a deaf ear to the message. People fail to realize that it is God who decides how he should be worshiped not us. If God says that there is only one faith how can people think that all religions are pleasing to him. Is this a trick of the devil to keep people from serving God?

I think you've answered your own question: people would rather be told what they want to hear instead of accepting the truth.
Part of the problem is that we don't know what the truth IS. People feel justified in believing anything they want, even things that have the weight of evidence against them, because there isn't absolute proof for the more plausible alternatives.
I've been amazed reading the bible at how different it is from what modern Christians actually believe.

You're cherry-picking prophecies. Do atheists fulfill the prophecy of 2 Peter regarding the scoffers who will come in the last days?
"...saying, Where is the promise of His [Second] Coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues as it was from the beginning of creation." Atheists don't believe in "creation," or that the world has been the same since it formed.
I suppose that there are more Christians now than at any time in history, at least in part because there are more people. It's only natural there'd be more people who believe in other gods, or in no god, as well.

whos to say christianity is the right religion?
there are a bunch of religions for a reason. Each region has different people who value different things. So to appeal to all people, there is different religions... In the end its all the same god and it doesnt matter what religion you are...
its people who change the interpretations around to be intolerant of others beleifs...
so yes people do listen to what they want to hear. They want to hear that their religion is the right one.
the truth is that it doesnt matter what religion you are... there is no RIGHT religion. We all go to the same place.

OK.
The Judaio-Christian bibles as all other cult dogma have no relevance in truth or practicality.
Any information if valid obtained from these texts are tainted by a miscarried seed.

I ask questions about the bible because I have read it. If you want to believe in talking snakes, that's fine with me, but quit trying to make laws saying I have to believe it as well.

Many are not willing to be chastened by God. They look for s religion that will raise them up. You ate right times today call for dedication , for each person to seek Gods will & face....

Some questions are asked in order to promote a person's view. Others are asked with pre-conditions that are really exclusion clauses (as you get in small print in insurance policies). They want 'cover' in a certain respect, but don't want to be bound by any answer.

Kid . . . I've read bibel three times.
It's a poorly written pack of fairy tales.
I can't believe you got taken in by the talking snake and donkey.
God is imaginary . . . get over it.
I see you able to get that threat of impending disaster if we don't grovel in.
