5 weeks pregnant - headaches?
First of all, let me tell you that I'm allergic to Tylenol (acetaminophen). Therefore, I cannot take most pain medicines.
Anyway, I'm 5 weeks pregnant and have had massive headaches. Typically I drink a coke or take a couple ibuprofen to help with pain. However, since I can't really take either of those, does anyone have any other suggestions to help with the headaches?

I suppose I didn't make it clear enough - I'm ALLERGIC to tylenol - therefore, if I take it, I could die. So it may be safe during pregnancy, but it is not safe to me to take whether I'm pregnant or not. :)
Also, this is my second pregnancy and I don't remember ever getting a headache while I was pregnant with my son.

I'd definately suggest talking to your doctor about an alternate treatment to Tylenol. There are medications that a doctor can prescribe ... even during pregnancy. Also, a can of coke (or any soft drink) to ease the pain will not harm your baby. He/She ma

Tylenol is safe to take while pregnant. Also, one can of coke won't hurt. My doc said it was fine. When i was pregnant, I used to get headaches in the early weeks too. i would take tylenol, drink a coke, and put an icey cold washcloth over my eyes and lay down in a dark room.

im 23 weeks pregnant.. and i get horible head aches!! i Do eat alot of candy lol. and lay in my room with it all dark.... otherwise my head aches just wont go away... im sure thats just me though. I hate taking any pill other then my prenatal!!
