Is a company allowed to schedule you and make you work overtime?

I work for a corporate bank and I always put in a lot of OT and I do get paid time and half for it, but I work 6 days a week and pretty late every night. (there is not such thing as bankers hours). By the time I get home, I eat dinner and go to bed. Once in awhile I dont care, but it would be nice to be home once in awhile.

they are free to schedule you to work 24 hours a day if they like, while not possible there is no law that says the cant.

there are literally millions of people that would trade places with you

Yes they can. As long as you are paid for the overtime and you get the required rest periods they're not violating any laws.

Your employer sets your hours. if they are legally paying you for those hours, then that's just the way it is. You don't like the hours, you find a new job (I realize it's not really that simple).

Yes they can, as long as they pay you for it.
