Can anybody recommend a good RTS game?
I've been playing Age of Empires 3 recently, but it's got a little bland. I'm looking for any RTS game for the PC, but nothing by Blizzard as i've played all of the Warcrafts and Starcrafts. Preferably on Steam.

You should try total war series! Medieval 2 , shogun 2 , empire total war, napoleon total war! They are great! ALso try Company of heroes , best WW2 game ever.!

Try playing Supreme Commander 1&2 or any of the Command and Conquer games, just remember that RTS are meant to be played on PC, Xbox RTS games don't feel so well.

Any game from the Command and conquer franchise is bound to be good, up until and including C&C3.
Stay away from c&c 4 though.
