Should I see a doctor about this happening while I run?

So I have some heart issues (murmur, and frequent Pvc's) that are benign and I thought id say those because i dont know if they relate. Anyways, I run cross country and track, and recently Ive been getting horrible shoulder cramps. I guess it's not really the shoulder but the muscle between my shoulder and collar bone. t just feels like a sharp tightening and adjusting my running form helps, but very slightly, so I'm pretty sure it's a breathing thing. I dont know whether to see a doctor or not because I dont know if this threatens my health or not. It does affect my running and the times I get and I dont want to fail just because of this. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I see a doctor or not? Any tips besides altering running form and deep breaths?

Well I think I had a similar back issue like yours. For that I found out that it is form. Its most likely that you might slouch over when you run when you are tired. Make sure you keep your back straight when running (sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear). For the heart issues, you NEED to see a doctor. You must be aware of the circumstances of your heart problems so you know how to prevent and treat them.

Well it sounds like you need to see a doctor. I would suggest to fix your posture, but it seems that you have already tried that. I do a lot of running too. Your shoulder problem could be happening because your body is physically unbalanced. Like sometimes athletes get muscle pain and it could be that your muscles are unbalanced, meaning that one muscle could be working harder to take the job of another muscle that is failing to do its job. Its hard to explain but i have that similar problem. Sometimes i go to see a Chiropractor and he pushes on different points on your body to align your muscles in the proper way they are supposed to be in :) I think you should try to see a doctor and then maybe try to see a Chiropractor, if that fits your needs :) I hope this helps :) but definitely go to see a doctor :)
