Has anyone ever worked as a lab tech in a lab with primates?

Looking for a temporary job at my school, and the highest paying job (that I qualify for) involves working at the medical school as a lab tech. I've got experience working in a research lab. If anyone has ever worked in a lab with larger mammals (ideally, primates) I'd love to hear from ya. What's it like?

    Yes. Most of my fellow grad students are primates as well.

    Not a safe question to answer on the internet, since it usually means that you have animal rights activists chucking bricks through your window at 3am as soon as they track you down.
