How do you define what a Red Neck is?

Is being a Red Neck a bad thing? Does it mean He or She is a bad person

or does it mean he work his butt off 40 hours a week to feed his family. Is

he blue collar does he chew tobacco? Is He or She addicted to Country or

Bluegrass Music?

I'm not trying to insult anyone or start any fights. It is just a question.

It just seems to me that a lot of people do not know the Definition.

Thank You for anything you add. Also, no bad language please.

It is a derogatory term applied to poor farmers from the Southern United States. The same as "Hillbilly" (Appalachia and The Ozarks), "Cracker" (Alabama and Georgia), and "White Trash". Much more polite is "(Country) Bumpkin", "Hick", or "Yokel". A redneck probably does all those things you mention, and nowadays probably lives in Texas.

Rednecks have also been called "Wool Hat Boys" (as compared to richer folk who wore silk hats),"Yaller Heels", Gray Drillers" and "Hayseeds".

All of this probably originates from the coalmines and farms of Appalachia.

The original term for redneck came within the hills of West Virginia. Virginia was a slave state and they farmers had the slaves do all the work, but in the hills of Virginia many farmers were poor and did not own slaves. They were called rednecks because they had to work in the sun all day and that caused the area around their neck to be sunburned. In fact West Virginia sided with the North during the Civil War.

that sounds like purely a scabby spot to me. like it became right into a niche that became into injured, in all probability from a bite or a pointy merchandise the dogs ran into. It would not look like mange or ringworm, those may well be greater flakey. on the stable ingredient, it additionally would not seem to be contaminated. whilst you're transforming into the dogs to a vet on Tuesday, i does no longer hardship too a lot. meanwhile, it does no longer do any harm to place some polysporin on the wound to maintain an infection out. it could additionally be a niche the place a tick became into related and scratched off, and that should reason an infection, and that quite must be seen by utilising a vet to make constructive that the tick's head isn't nevertheless caught in the exterior.

This label falls on most all US Americans due to there patriotic herd mentality. Even though we know there are many roses living and growing among these thorns. These are the ones who tar, feather and tarnish all US Americans reputations with the same feathered and tared, the apple doesn't fall from the tree brush.

Overseas we only see or encounter these bad ones who give this very tarnished reputation to all US Americans persons. By being arrogant, fat, loud and stupid, rather than being good, liked, friendly and respected foreign ambassadors for there country.

a South of the USA Phone Company

    Your house still has the

    "WIDE LOAD"

    sign on the back.

You think a quarter horse is

a ride out in front of the Wal-Mart.

You think fast food is hitting a possum at 65 mph.

When I think of a Red Neck, I think of someone who's fairly uneducated and lives in a trailer park. And yeah in my mind he's listening to country and drinking a beer. That doesn't mean he's a bad person. That's just how I picture it.

I will use bad language, talk in a country twang, and drink my ice cold beer while I shoot squirrels from my front porch. My Ford Pickup truck is in the garage and I will be danged if it doesnt have a gun rack in the back window and is covered in mud.

    Source(s): I am a redneck baby.
