How do I lose 20 pounds asap?
I am 22 years old and I need to lose 20 lbs as soon as possible. My problem is food. I find myself eating all the time. I eat when I'm not hungry and then I ask why I am even eating in the first place. I have no idea why I eat so much. But I need to cut down on foods and get a diet plan that helps me lose weight. Need to lose about 20 lbs as soon as possible. No specific reason why. Just for me wanting to lose the 20 lbs I gained over the last few months.
Any ideas? I am seriously thinking of locking the fridge with a lock lol and then giving the key to someone so I can't eat. But I really need some help. Anything you can suggest is appreciated.

Eat organic fruits and veggies(leafy greens are the best), no rice, no potatoes, no sugary cereal, very little pasta if any, use unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened rice milk, unsweetened soy milk,(instead of cow milk) tempeh is good food, buy some vegan cookbooks, eat your beans, not too much cheese or other saturated fats, don't drink soda pop, drink plenty of water, couscous is good(I turn it into dinner loaves)(I even use it to make delicious cakes), you can use tofu to make those dinner loaves(it actually tastes good), if any meat eat fish, turkey, or chicken, stay away from ice cream(unless it's vegan, a lot healthier and tastes great), no candy, no processed junk, no fast food, keep it low on salt, prunes help, big doses of calcium comes from sesame seeds, sunflower seeds are fattening(don't eat too much of them), eat oatmeal(you can add fruit to it), stay away from high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup, maximum saturated fats(5g) a day, eat only 50g of sugar a day, no deep fried foods, please don't starve yourself(that WILL worsten your weight, you'll get fatter), corn isn't a vegetable it's a grain(don't eat it too much)(has no nutritional value), corn chips are better than potato chips(dips:hummus, bean dip, sunflower seed dip), if any cereal eat a whole grain/wheat cereal(it fills you up better), if craving a hot dog(eat a turkey dog), and most important run/jog(I run more than 7 miles a day, or use to). You should also go swimming/walk in the pool(try to jog in the water)(one of the best ways to shed those pounds). Don't forget to eat your mushrooms. Don't eat too much vitamin B12(comes from soil and can be absorbed through the skin(most common way of getting it)), it will cause you to want to eat more. Make your own flap jack mix if you want that for breakfast, agave nectar is really good to put on them(less sugar than maple syrup). So, don't eat so much meat and wash your veggies.

The water thing may help. Putting a rubber band on your wrist and twanging it whenever you get the urge may help. The fridge trick you propose may help IF you don't stow snacks somewhere outside the big tall box.
But you already know you're eating because you want to eat, not because you're hungry. So either you can stop essentially by yourself (w/ or w/o tricks like those above) or not.
It may be that until you figure out why you're overeating you'll just keep going. In that case, you need professional help. You may be able to get it at low or no cost, depending on your community. In any case, the cost of continually getting fatter is going to be higher.

Okaii well i suggest yu run at least 2 hours a day, i run on my treadmill and last summer 1 month of running 2 hours everyday going up higher on dha speed too i lostb 40 lbs ^_^ but prob is it does make u lose muscle so just take protein ull b fine

Hahah. Just when you get the urge to eat again, drink a full glass of water and your appetite will die down--trust me! This is how I disciplined myself to lose weight. When I felt hungry,just drink a full bottle of water so that in a matter of minutes, you won't have the desire to eat anymore.

I think you answered your own question. Eat less, and start running. Try to get up to six or seven mikes a day. There is non easy way to lose weight. You have to have discipline.
