How Do Get Myself Started In Go Karting?

As I am researching, can anyone give me any vital advice I should know getting started in go karting?

    Check your area for Karting clubs then contact them. They will give you all the rules and technical information you will need to get started. They may even have a selection of new and used equipment which will help.

    It always helps if there is a racing kart track somewhere nearby. It's difficult to race without a track to compete on. Find a track and attend an event to see how things work and get some info.
