Why is it different that we don't teach kids about the USSR but feel duty-bound to teach them about the Nazis?

Tell your fairy tales about USSR and wonderful Nazis to my grandparents who lived during the war with Germany in 1941-1945. Or to sister of my grandmother who was in Auschwitz.

Or to that person wrom whose skin Nazis made women's gloves which I saw in museum in Kiev (yes, gloves of HUMAN skin ).

They will tell you where the difference is.

First of all the Nazi's killed majority of the Russians that died in WW2. 24 Million Russians died in ww2. Germany Had 8 Million deaths. Obviously the Germans killed more.

Nazi Germany was the first to have Concentration camps, When Hitler came to power he immediately made them. They were originally designed for Political party members from other parties that voted/fought against him.

The USSR had more people living in fear due to the unstable government, Many of these people which were feared were the ones that fought against the government. ALL of them were later on killed by the Nazi's when they alliances with Hitler. (Hitler back stabbed them for being traitors to their own government, then later robbed them of their crops/valuables)

People get mad when someone mentions the Nazi's because the USA government has never told the truth behind the Nazi's; Almost everything that has been said is a lie or over Exaggerated.

more then 95% of the Nazi Documents are held in Russian Achieves, a couple years ago a few important documents were released. One of them contained proof that Hitler was not knowledgeable upon what was happening in the Concentration camps; Heinrich Himmler was the General of the SS and the Overseer to the camps.

Or China and the tens of millions murdered.

So much of what kids learn in their early history classes are fables anyways.

The pilgrims & thanksgiving, salem witch trials, Civil war causes and Lincoln, Columbus and on and on.

Some people still believe the garbage they taught us. But some people still believe that Noah brought 2 mosquitos and 2 cockroaches etc... on a boat with 2 elephants and 2....

So Russia is a good country? That is what the question is asking. Why not teach the Total history of Russia, too? The did not say stop teach about Germany. You do not think the Education is Bias?

Why is it illegal in Europe to even question the numbers? That is not study that is censorship.

The USSR was much worse than the Germans. After the War Britain and America made plans to destroy their government and assassinate Starlin. I wish they had, may god forgive us for not helping those poor people in their time of need. Starlin murdered 42 million people we know of.

Perhaps the professors and the nea don't want students to know the real truth on how socialist country's are really ran.

Schools are ran by liberals. Liberals were sad to see the USSR go despite its horrible history. They idea was sound to them so it was good. If they were to teach about it, it would be in a positive way. And I am pretty sure that, that Tammy in that other question was a troll.

You forgot about the indecent statistics regarding the rape of German women and children by Soviet and allied soldiers as the Soviet war machine 'liberated' the war-torn countries at the end of WW2.

But to answer your question, it all boils down to who controls the media, directly or indirectly and the dissemination of information. That will explain the topics allowed and promoted to the general public.
