Over 18 to watch Harry potter Deathly Hallows Part 2 midnight?

Hello,

I am 14 tears old and i really want to watch the midnight showing of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 2 at Vue, but apparently it says you have to be over 18 to watch it! Is this true?

But then how come you are allowed to buy a teen ticket (for 13-18 year olds) on that showing when it says you have to be over 18?

No, you absolutely do not need to be 18 to see the movie, so don't worry too much.

The movie is rated PG-13, so anyone over the age of 13 is perfectly allowed in their own right to see the movie.

Ignore whoever told you this incorrect information. Remember to buy tickets in advance, or you'll never have a spot!

I hope you have lots of fun!

Don't know about the laws where you live but the movie is PG-13 so there isn't any reason you can't see it. Either it's due to curfew, or the suggestion that they want you to pre-purchase a ticket with a credit card, or most likely it may be specific to the movie theater you're going to.....they may not want the whole place full of a bunch of pre-teens/teenagers the whole night. Youngsters have a reputation for being a pain in the butt. =) I'd have you parent call the theater and ask them to explain the age cap.

okay thats really dumb. You probably just have to be 18 or older to buy a ticket in advance because you need a credit card. The film is rated PG 13, and I'm 15 years old and going to watch the movie midnight. Chill, you are just over reacting.

    Source(s): common sense.

I am sure it wont be a problem. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't let you in. If you still need to get tickets they are available here http://harrypotter.oskr.org./ Have fun at the movie!
