Are the Spice and Wolf manga series good?
I've started watching the anime and I'm really loving it. I want to buy the first three volumes of the series in books but I just want to make sure it's money well spent. Are the books totally worth taking the time to read?

Are you talking about the manga, or the light novels?
If you are speaking of the manga, yes! It is most certainly worth taking the time to read. Its still in print I believe as the previous volume ended shortly after Holo and Lawrence meet Norah.
I can, unfortunately, not speak for the light novels at this time (still saving money to get them myself).

Well the manga is usually better than the anime. So maybe you should check it out on wiki. I mean what the manga is about. O.o
