How to remove Chocolate stain from a white Chef Jacket?

I was told to warm hand wash first to remove the Chocolate stain.

Do I set the Washing Machine to Warm/Warm for Perm. Press (tag said "warm") then Put it in the Dryer.

Is this the right settings? (The warm/warm setting may melt the Chocolate white in the Washing/Dryer Machines?)

I have another uniform set exactly the same (so I can alternate).

No need. Just pre-treat the stain with a "stain" remover, or dish soap. Rub it in, and wash as usual.

Whatever setting is recommended for the jacket is what you use.

Pre-treat the stain by using Fels Naptha soap. Take a cellulose sponge, wet it with warm water, and rub it across a bar of Fels Naptha. Wipe down the stain with the sponge, and scrub it for a minute. Then, toss it in the washing machine. The tag on the jacket should be followed. If it says warm, permanent press, then that's what you use. You can help the detergent do its job by tossing in a heaping tablespoon of Borateem, Biz, Purex 2, or Oxy-Clean (they are all exactly the same product, Sodium Perchlorate). That boosts cleaning power, and should get out your stains.

I would apply detergent from the inside of the stain first.

Roll it up and allow to sit for several hours.

    Wash cold water, normal cycle.

Check stain at that point. If gone proceede to dry.

    Otherwise repeat steps again.

If it is still faint, then another cycle With a dash of bleach.

Remember that once you dry it, that stain will be very hard to get out.

Send the jackets to the dry cleaners. They will steam the stain out. That's how I get chocolate out of my jackets. Don't waste your time with home remedies.

Buy a brown confectioners jacket or vinyl apron when doing chocolate. All the chef uniform catalogs have them.
