my motherboard displays numbers?

my motherboard (asus maximus IV extreme v3) has lights which display numbers/letters...usually it just displays AA but now its displaying 80 and stuff...anyone got any idea what they mean?

    you should ask asus

    lots of motherboard have debug displays

    it is like P.O.S.T. beeps

    Diagnostic post (power on selftest) info, the manual should explain the meaning of it.
