Lots of people are still using Wikipedia, and worse, they are still treating everything they read in it as if it were the gospel truth (which of course it is not). The problem is also that lots of people still don't know what a better, more reliable website is for the kinds of topics they most often look up in Wikipedia.

And I have to admit that for me there still comes up the occasional topic for which I just have no idea where to go and Google gives me Wikipedia as the very first and perhaps only result. In those cases, I go like, "Fine," go to the Wikipedia article, scroll all the way to the bottom and hope there is some kind of external link or book citation. I try to not even look at anything else in Wikipedia almost as if I were trying to avoid looking Medusa in the eyes.

    Yes, people still use Wikipedia.

It's a quick way to stock up on information quickly. You can use Wikipedia to get an overview of the topic you want to read about.

You should also note the sources at the bottom of an article, it's where the writers of Wikipedia got their info from. You can search up a topic like "WWII" and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on one of the website URLs. Most of the time, the websites that Wikipedia uses are often credible enough to be used in a report.

Lol... Wikipedia is full of paid editors, who will post anything if you give them cash.
