He deserved what he got. I feel that we should ensure that the Mexican consulate was consulted, but in this case where we KNOW he was responsible, I am annoyed that the UN and Mexico made a fuss over this particular case. I think Mexico knew and used anti death penalty groups to play shananigans . BOth the lawyer and the family could of easily contacted the consulate. As for the murderers statement, he is free to say what ever he wants. he was going to die anyways, what are we going to do about his disrespectful act. As for their parents they are horrible people and with their behavior I understand how Leal ended up a murder. It's partly from poor parenting. As for illegals, I'm not sure if Leal is legal or not. Unfortunately Liberal news avoid discussing these things. It is moot though. Illegals shouldn't be here, and I want to see better immigration control. Partly to prevent racist and other questionable people from coming here. Anti American immigrants like Leal who hates us, but comes here for the money.

Just because a person comes to work in the U.S. does not mean he still doesn't love his country. Americans tend to think this country is best and cannot imagine someone loving their country, even at the end. It is largely due to being a very isolated country from which the the ignorant do not travel. If they did, they would have different feelings.

The execution was illegal. That is why his family burned the flag. It was against international law. However, most Americans do not respect international laws.

At least he took responsibility for his actions. Yesterday an American teenager was sentenced to two consecutive life terms for deliberately killing two convenience store clerks in cold blood. He laughed during sentencing. Idiots and sociopaths come from every country.

I have a question, doesnt the presidents pardon trump everything? I was under the impression it did. Also how can the US kill a Mexican citizen, i would think that Mexico would try and intervene... a previous question you posted said that the police didnt follow the law by letting him contact a Mexican embassy when he was arrested. I think this is an injustice. Two wrongs dont make a right.
