Is is just me, or is Cartoon Network getting a little gay?

yeah i think it is. these cartoons aren't as good as those cartoons shown back then. even my parents, who obviously grew up on a time where everything was different than my child days, think that the cartoons i used to watch were actually good. now cartoon network took Looney Tunes and turned it into some pretty horrible show.

the same has happened to disney channel and nickelodeon (now they just call themselves "nick") are turning pretty horrible.

i don't mean to sound hateful, but NONE of my relatives who are children are smart. they get taught really stupid things in school, instead of teaching them about planting a bean in science class, the teacher of one of my cousins asked them what they are interested in and just showed them a disney movie (high school musical i think or some other horrible crap) because that is what they all liked, IN A SCIENCE CLASS.

the reason why i know that he doesn't know a thing or two about how a plant grows is because i asked him to grow a bean plant and all he did was put a bean on top of a cup of soil and leave it inside a cupboard. this is something that i got taught in kindergarten and is useful enough today. oh and he is in the third grade already, and has no clue that a seed needs to get watered, get sunlight, and be under the soil to grow. just like cartoon network, his teacher thinks that by showing stupid shows or movies they will grow up to be smart and insightful which is obviously wrong.

in other words, what all of these children shows industries filled with hateful adults such as cartoon network are doing is just gaining money and not caring if the show that the children watch are any good or have no sense or connection to reality and reality's humors.

i'm in college and spending days of watching cartoons is not my thing anymore but once in a while i turn to these cartoon network, "nick", and disney channel when nothing is on the other channels. but they just get me really aggravated.

Yeah it really is. I loved when they had Toonami because they would play good shows like Naruto, Zatch Bell, Teen Titans, One Piece, Sailor Moon, Gundam and a whole bunch of others.

After they got arid of Toonami and started playing Chowder, Flapjack and Adventure Time and all those stupid shows I stopped watching it entirely since I was so stupid.

Shame its gone now.

To answer your question I don't like the new CN.

There's not much thought put into its shows these days... They care more about holding kid's attention spans.
