XBOX 360 points for son.?
Ok, so my son has a Windows ID for his XBOX 360. He wants points for it but I won't do it under his name (with a credit card that is) which means I have to create my own Windows ID, that's all fine and dandy. But if I add the points under my ID/profile (whatever), will he have to log on with my name to use them? Not sure how it works, poor mom (that's me) just doesn't want to "affect" his gaming in anyway. Or does he just need to get his own darn points card from the store and do it that way? Does it matter? :)

It would be best to buy a pre-paid points card from a store. He can't access the points from your account under his own unless you're on a Family Plan.

Well theres two ways of doing this... you can go to somewhere like chips, game , gamestation and buy a points card. OR you can type xbox.com in in google, get your son to sign in with his windows live id and go to 'add points'. I have done this several times before and it is secure. You have to enter some credit card details and the points are INSTANTLY transferred to his account. You can select the amt of points that you want it is roughly £8.50 per 1000 points- hope it helps.

1. The credit card wouldn't be under his name.
2. You can order MSP Cards for Mail Order.
3. You can go to any (Wal-Mart,7-11, Game Store, etc.) and get MSP Cards.
