Breast-pumping with one brand and feeding with different bottle brand?

I'm looking into the Madela pump and the Avent bottles. I don't like the Madela bottles. Has anyone pumped with a brand and used a different bottle brand? I was going to pump into the storage bags. But because it's our first baby, I wonder how we transfer the milk from the storage bags to the Avent bottles. Suggestions?

Yes, it's not hard...I actually pumped into medela bottles that came with the pump (there were 2) and then I also got some milk storage viles I think they were called. They were by Medela and held only 2.5 oz of milk. I never pumped directly into a storage bag because sometimes it took several sessions to get 4 or 5 oz of milk. Also, evenflo bottles fit onto Medela pump parts.

It's not hard transferring milk from the breastmilk storage bag to bottles; just thaw the milk open the bag and pour it into the bottle of your choice. I used the Breastflow bottles by First Years and I never had any nipple confusion with my daughter

All you have to do is pour the milk from the bags into the other bottle brand. It's pretty easy to do and shouldn't give you any problems.

    Good luck!

I used Dr browns bottles and they fit into my breast pump so I was able to pump milk directly into them. But you can always pour the milk into whatever bottle you cchoose to feed with.
