Why Is It That So ManyChristians Find It SoHard To Live TheChristian Life?

For starters most are only claimed to be Christians, but, they fail to follow Jesus the Christ, or the

Bible.

He that has my commandments and observes them, that one is he who loves me. In turn he that loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and plainly show myself to him." John 14: 21.

Most truly I say to you. He that exercises faith in me, that one also will do the works that I do; ...... John 14:12.

Then, many are fleshly rather than spiritual, and seek their own interests.

Romans 8:5-8

5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Galatians 5:16-18

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For the flesh [a]sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you [b]please. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

The more we allow the Holy Spirit to direct our lives, the easier it gets.

Christians are not perfect. We are still human beings and mess up. Who doesn't?

because we can't live it that is why we abide in Jesus and he live his life in and through us today. he is the vine we are the branch if we will abide in the vine he will produce the fruit of the spirit love, joy peace kindenss meekness faithfuness and self-control in and through us today, all we do is abide in him and his word (bible) daily

Maybe they think they are living the life. That's the sad part.

They're at war with their flesh, the world and the Devil...

We don't lie to ourselves. The Christian life is hard.

because it requires them to trust in god and not their self
