Which would you prefer a Pistol or Revolver?

I prefer my 500 S&W pistol.

Nice, strong... powerful. That's my MAIN weapon. Don't need a backup with that around.

While I love revolvers, I'll take a good semi-auto any day.

The trick is to make sure you've learned your semi-auto inside and out. Most malfunctions stem from cheap or out of specification ammo. I've fired my newest semi-auto hundreds of times with zero malfunctions.

And I'd rather have 15 rounds of .40 S&W over 6 to 8 of a smaller caliber. Good luck mastering that speed loader.

My only suggestion for a revolver would be a .357 Magnum. I'm still waiting to try one of the Chiappa Rhino revolvers.

It all depends on the caliber. I would definitely prefer a .38 revolver over a 9mm semi-automatic. Yes, it's faster to reload a semi-automatic, but I'd prefer to put them down with a single shot, and a larger caliber can increase my chances of only needing to hit them once.

If I couldn't get my hands on a Mateba Unica 6 autorevolver, I would rather go with a .45 semi-automatic, like a Colt 1911.

I prefer a revolver of a semi auto because I shoot more accurate with the revolver.

I like my S & W Model 19 , I figure if I can't hit someone with 6 rounds I will throw it at them as I am hauling as* in the opposite direction.

Revolver. I find it difficult to hit a barn door with a pistol.

Colt 1911....Best the military ever had...Shame they went to the 9mm.

Colt had knockdown power and good magazine capacity.
