Due date? LMP and Ultrasound are weeks diff?
Confusing situation but I need some advice.
My expected period date was 2nd jan 2011. It came a week late on the 9th jan. I missed my next period and therefore did a test and it was positive, had a scan at what I thought I was 9 weeks 3 days but they said I measured at 10 weeks 6 days. At my next scan I thought I was 20 weeks and 5 days calculating off the previous scan dates and not my own figures but they said he was measuring bigger again 21 days 6 days.
I have now had a 4d scan today at 26 weeks 6 days and they say he is measuring at 28 weeks 3 days!!
In your opinion is just going to be a big boy? Last one was 7 pound 2.....
His fetal length is measuring smaller than his head so am I further along then I think I am?
I did have a heavy period on the 9th jan( sorry tmi) and did a clear digital when I found out and that said I was 2-3 weeks pregnant which was right for my dates?
I'm so confused? Should I be concerned at all? I'm having a glucose test next week as my mother has diabetes.
Thanks in advance Jess

I'm not concerned that your dates aren't lining up exactly right. They normally won't change your due date unless your estimated date based on the ultrasound is at least 2 weeks different. Because ultrasounds are not 100% perfect. They are estimates, too. However, I am a little bit concerned that your baby appears to be growing more and more out of line of expected. If your glucose test comes back normal, it's probably nothing to worry about.

it could be that you mixed up your dates or ovulated at a different time than you thought which would of course change how far you are, or just a big baby. wait for the test results and see what your midwife thinks but i wouldnt be worried unless there is a problem like diabetes, because all babies grow differently in the womb and the due date is just an estimate.

I wouldn't worry about it. Due dates change periodically, but the dr. rarely will "actually" change the date. My baby is measuring about 2 weeks further along that I am. But the baby is healthy, so I am not worrying and niether should you! Hopefully you just deliver early!
