Insulin Pump users - Need to know where to connect!!!?
I'm newly pregnant (9weeks) and I'm curious how long can I continue to connect to my stomach? I've never connected anywhere else, so can you also please provide new sites? Thanks for all your help

for that answer you absolutely must talk to your doctors! You will have some sites on the sides that are not going to be tight with baby so I am guessing that the sides under the ribs and near the back will be your options. I am also guessing you will be able to use your pump through the 6th or 7th month but not sure.
basing that on the fact that the baby is center front and skin gets really tight over it.
Start now with the cocobutter!! rub it into your tummy area and breasts daily so you don't get those nasty stretch marks!
Have a happy baby and happier mother!

This is really a question for your endo, assuming you see one for your care. The link below is a very good forum for insulin pumpers. You have to join but it won't cost you a thing. I highly recommend it. Some health care professionals post there, so you may get some valuable advice from them.
The second link is to a PDF that on page 19 discusses infusion sites during pregnancy.
Still, you really should talk to whoever is handling your diabetic care.

Life style is often part of the issue. Life style changes now could delay or prevent you from getting diabetes later. Learn here https://tr.im/2Wm3f
What you eat is not actually the cause of diabetes, but how you live can be. If you sit on the couch all day, your chances of developing diabetes goes up greatly.
Just do the best you can to not gain weight and to maintain an active life style and that will greatly help reduce some of your risks.
