Does anybody know how to reset a dell latitude e5400 bios setup/admin password?

any help would be appreciated.

    Removing the battery on a modern Lattitude will not reset a svp based bios password which is written to flash memory on the main board.

    You need to either contact dell or visit the link below for specific info on how to reset it .

    Pull out the cmos battery AND the laptop battery AND make sure the adapter isn't plugged in. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

    You need to call Dell with the service tag, then prove you are the legal owner before they can reset it for you.
