Liposuction: If you get it done mainly on your tummy area?

Is it true that if you gain weight later on, it will go to other areas, so you might end up with disproportionately fat arms and thighs?

My advice is stay away from it. I used to have huge problems with my weight and stomach fat, but now I am in better shape. Here's a good site I found that really helped me with great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I was doing wrong before. There are lots of free articles on the site for you to read on how to do it.

    Best of luck!

    Hi,

There are not any studies who prove the belief that after a liposuction, increase in body fat would distribute more towards areas without liposuction.

Most cosmetic and plastic surgeons believe that this doesn't happen either. On the other hand, in my experience I do believe this happens to many patients when they gain a substantial amount of weight after a liposuction procedure. For this reason, it's important to take good care of one's weight and fat percentage after a liposuction. Please let me know if you have further questions.
