    Honestly, it completely depends on the machine/collaboration used. When you take a blood test, the safe ranges are usually given next to your own result. So you really cannot say what is correct and what is wrong. Unless someone knows all the different ranges...

    The level used to be from 0.5 to 4.5-5.0. New levels by some endocrinologists are from 0.3 to 3.0, a lot lower. So by the old standard over 5 is to high, and by the new one over 3 is too high.

    yes, there are those 2 levels. From experience I would say the range between 0.5 and 4 is good.

    symptoms depend on the person and the lifestyle of the person. 5 and more will show up symptoms.
