Will starving myself increase the risk of type 2 diabetes ?

I know that eating foods high in carbs and sugar increase your risk, but in order to refrain from eating these foods sometimes i won’t eat at all, will this increase my risk of getting type 2 diabetes ?

No. In fact, you cannot control whether or not you develop Type 2 diabetes. So, just eat a normal, healthy diet and don't worry.

By starving yourself you risk other health issues, and establishing an eating disorder.

Eating a normal varied diet will NOT give you Type 2 Diabetes. Unless it runs in your family, you're unlikely to be at risk anyway (it's pretty genetic). So just live your life and don't worry about something that's unlikely anyway.
