If you are diabetic - yes.

If you are not diabetic - your body will handle the sugar load and it won't matter.  The raise in sugar levels would be temporary and the body would correctly reduce those sugar levels if you are not diabetic.

Depends on what is used as the sweetener. If the sweetener is any type of sugar, it's going to raise your blood glucose. Also in the pie gas a crust made of white flour it will rise even more.

Using artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols, and a non or low carb crust, it won't rise it as much as a regular lemon meringue pie would.

Be careful with eating too much of anything containing sugar alcohol, as too much tends to act as a laxative for many people.
