What did you think of Harry Potter 7 Part 2?
I liked it, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed in some parts. Like Ron and Hermione's kiss, I wasn't really satisfied with. And I really hated how Harry didn't fix his wand with the elder wand...it would have taken two seconds! And the whole Harry and Voldemort final duel seemed kind of anti climatic or something. And I didn't like how Voldemort's body broke into pieces...I think it would have made a better statement if his body stayed and he just fell down dead. Like, he was just a man and now he is dead. But overall it was a good movie. I loved the part with Snape's memories. I cried a few times when certain people died (don't want to spoil anything). So what did everyone else think of the movie? Did it do the book justice?

If it were a movie that wasn't meant to be a book adaptation, it would have been brilliant. But as a book adaptation, I think it sucked. Voldemort was too weird in it, him hugging Draco was hilarious but it was just wrong. I was angry that they mentioned some bits of Dumbledore's past but didn't explain his backstory properly. They didn't show that certain death well enough, when in the book it was heartbreaking. It pissed me off so bad Harry didn't just mend his wand, it would have been so easy to do! And I hated how Voldemort died, he flaked away like he had some fatal case of dandruff, it didn't make sense - he was a mortal wizard, he would have just died, same as Bellatrix, I think she crumbled weirdly too! I think Snape's memories and death was good, I was a little creeped out when he started hugging her dead body but it was pretty powerful. I was so angry when it finished as I just hated how much they changed, it didn't even come close to the book imo.

I completely agree, The overall movie was good but the scenes you mentioned were a let down to me as well. I didn't like the fact that voldemort could feel the horcurxes being destroyed as he couldn't in the book and in part 1 he didn't feel the locket being destroyed because if he had he would have acted faster. Did you also notice how many fangs there were? Ron took 1 from the snake but yet harry had 1 that voldemort destroyed when he dropped it, then ron had 1 which he then dropped down the stairs, but yet in the chamber of secrets he only grabbed 1. All in all a good film but they definitely ruined some scenes, voldemort dying, and harry snapping the elder wand and not fixing his. You know what this means? Draco lost his wands, harry will never get his full power back since he never fixed his wand and he didn't think much about dumbledor since he snapped the mans wand without giving it another thought.

OMG, I totally agree with the "how Harry didn't fix his wand with the elder wand" part!!! I just watched the movie earlier today, and I gaped when he just broke it. I also wished they followed the book at the part where Harry and Voldemort had their final duel. It would have been great to see the whole Great Hall go silent then erupt in cheer. Oh, oh, and they should have given more screen time to the other characters (like Fred D:), because the book did that part so sadly I teared.
But overall I can't say it's bad or it didn't do the book justice because it's the final installment in the series. Plus some parts were done beautifully, like Snape's memories and the part in Harry's head. :D It's over... Haha. My childhood.

Bloody outstanding!!! McGonagal and Snape have the great strains I reckon, oh and would't forget Molly Weasley "You B***H!" to Bellatrix Lestrange. The action picture is amazingly emotional too, you'll giggle and cry. The epilogue is tremendous yet unhappy too reason you keep in mind that is it there is not any extra. quite a number of human beings in my theatre cried in the epilogue! deliver tissues

I loved it! If I was a movie critic, I would give it an A++
