HSBC Yamaha Card Title?

I have a Yamaha R6 that I paid off on June 14th, 2011. My balance is now $0. I was told to wait 30 days for my title. 30 days has passed, and cannot get HSBC on the phone. Do I have any recourse?

Just give it a few more days. It's not as though they have hundreds of staff that take care of this. They have to fill out paperwork on their end, send the title to the State for transfer, the State gets stacks of these every week for everyone in your state paying off a vehicle of some kind, then they have to fill out your new title & get it off to you.

This title isn't just a piece of paper that goes right from a drawer in an HSBC desk somewhere, then directly to your mailbox.

Believe me, they don't want your title & once it leaves their hands, it's on the way to the State, who, these days, doesn't have a surplus of cash & personnel dedicated to do this.

It's all part of the way the recession is hurting us.

Whew....hope that answered your question! :0)
