my Toshiba lptp satellite A 100/A 105's cd drive does not recognize any CD'S including its own recovery disk. How do I fix this problem? Thank you!

If any CD's work on the drive, it's time to get it fixed at repair shop. Other alternative is connecting an external CD drive to the USB port. They are cheap and will be recognized as a regular CD drive.

Sorry but the only answer you can get is take it to a reputable repaireras the cd drive sounds as if it is shot ,has the machine been dropped as this can do a lot of damage inside when the casing outside looks good

u probably have been given a plague. first while the kind sort pops up press the button with the textual content textile setup must be on the facet 2d bypass besides menu (could say something else) make helpful the 1st think of is the CD ROm that runs first. third run it and notice if CD works.
