Why would someone drink a meal replacement?
i was thinking of drink a meal replacement (GNC lean shake) for breakfast...but i also do weight watchers and altogether the shake plus ilk (it seems te milk makes you feel fuller longer) it woul e like 9 points plus...im trying to figure out why people drink the meal replacement as opposed to just eatng the balance meal? is it just convience? the shake is 180 calories....is it the calorie intake? anyone have any weight loss success off of meal replacement shakes....after you sop drinking them, did you gain the weight back? any insight would be great.
i have lost 60 lbs and need to lose about 40 more so this would be a boost past my pleateu

Yes my son. I can't see the benefit of a meal replacement drink, when you can have a nutritious meals, within the guidelines. As for Weight Watchers I don't know, but as my Dietitian put it, once you reach the level out, where your body automatically finds it's weight plateau, then you should go on some maintenance.
What happens, if you don't do some sort of maintenance to hold at that weight, you tend to explode, like gain weight at twice the rate and not realize it till it's to late.
The only additional I take, besides my heart and blood pressure pills, are a multi vitamin like Centrum, and I also have to take iron, I have a problem in that area.
Please don't go loosing more than you should, balance your diet with exercise to replace muscle.

Just have a proper diet rich in fiber and protein and try to cut all the unhealthy stuff from your diet atlhough its good to enjoy. Dont binge on unhealthy stuff any other time. You should also exercise 3-5 times a week and you should definitely see results in a couple of weeks. Learn more here:

Exercise daily , Avoid eating unhealthy food or food with lots of calories , drink lots of water , do dips once in a while , try to reduce some food you eat during a week. Get more information here:

cardio exercise and eating breakfast fruits, whole grain cereals and egg-white are great options help boost metabolism which help lose weight faster & burn more calories so eat egg in every morning omelet or boiled etc..to get protein which important for your body for losing weight stay way from junk food, fries
Do 30 minutes of cardio training [dancing, jogging, aerobics, yoga , running, bicycle, swimming, kick boxing ... ] and 30 minutes of strength train [weights, arms, setup, crunches for abs, legs workout and stretches]workout 3-6 times on week. 30min or 1-2 hours

Measure out and about that bowl of cereal or even oatmeal, including the fruit, loco, maple syrup, milk, and yogurt you increase it. Have a set of measuring cups and spoons around instead of eyeballing.
