I want to lose some tummy flab?

I'm 13 and want a flat tummy if possible and don't know how to go about it. I'm going for a walk in the mornings with my dad (20-30 minutes) Is there any inexpensive sport I could do? Should I cut back on sweet and sugary things?? (muffins etc.) Should I eat less?? Any help would be appreciated!!

Thx in advance!!!

Update:

Do you guys know any exercises that might help??

i'm 14, & had the same problem. Cut back on sweets, & eat healthier. Plus go for a daily run. I ran everyday for two months without any diet restrictions and lost a good 10 pounds, not to mention my butt & thighs are soooo toned. & for the past month or so, I've been drinking only water with healthy meals & snacks, & I've lost maybe 5 lbs. But my belly isn't exactly flat :/ but I'm also very short, so anything I eat goes directly to my booty & thighs. Anyway, hope I helped.

You should cut out all the the sweet and sugary foods/drinks. And exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday, cardio is the best for losing weight. Also this might help, keep a food journal, write down everything you eat and how many calories you're consuming.

It takes a longer time. However not all exercises let you lose that tummy flab fast. Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body and tummy fats. It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs. Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog. Xiaozhen

I'm sorry I don't know what its called. But you take a large exercise blow up ball, rest the small of your back on it and do sit up. It crunches you abbe mussels both front and back because the ball makes you bend all the way back when the floor would have stopped you.

Please note that as an 18-year-old that has been and at times still is self-conscious about her weight the first rule is self confidence. Know that you are beautiful, okay?

I love this workout! It only requires some light weights, which are pretty cheap. It's amazing for me, and had toned my body amazingly in just a week! Plus, it only takes about 20-30 minutes!

Honestly, it kicks your butt, but you get a good body in just weeks by doing this every day.

Also, cutting down on fatty foods wouldn't hurt, but ONLY if you are overweight, not if you just want a toned body.

Try Zumba. I have always had problems with weight and Zumba is a great and fun way to work it off. Find out where classes are near you. You can also go on youtube and type in "Zumba"

Walking will not make you lose weight. Sure it's healthy, but will not get rid of the flab.

You can just run circles around your block. Do long runs, those get rid of the fat.
