What do you think of OptionsHouse?

Also, is there any software that you need to install with it and if so how does it work in linux?

    OptionsHouse is not as good a brokerage as OptionsXpress.

    OptionsHouse is better than most. It's not as good as ThinkOrSwim. The TOS platform clearly has more features. Tradestation and Lightspeed are also worthwhile to look at.

    All the better brokers have platforms which run software on your PC or Mac. With the web based platforms you lose some of the significat advatages of these brokers.

    I don't know if any of these run on Linux. Call the broker of your choice.
