Yes, I think I do know my president. Obama is a pragmatist trying to balance the extremist positions that Democrats and Republicans are taking in order to find the most good for our country. His focus is on recovering our economy, and he was starting to succeed with over 200,000 new jobs added to the economy per month at the beginning of this year. I think Obama has been doing such a good as president that Republicans panicked about the 2012 elections and decided to engage in economic sabotage with their deficit reduction demands in order to blame Obama for a weak economy a year from now.

I don't believe Republicans know diddly squat about what their political leaders are really up to. I think you are just making these claims about Republicans knowing their president better than Democrats because you are desperately trying to fill some need to feel superior to people who have different opinions than you. I think the repeated failures of conservatism created this need in you and other conservatives in the country.

Since when is there a time frame for a promise? If I promised my neighbor that I would cut his grass while he was away and just blatantly did not do it should I tell him don't worry I will do it next time? Barack Obama outright lied and it shows a total lack of integrity on his part. He should have sent the bill back to the Senate to have it cleaned up. It is apparent that Nancy Pelosi is in command not Barack Obama, he is just the figure head.
