What website are useful for trading garden plants with other gardeners?

I would prefer to get in touch with other local gardeners.

There is a site davesgarden.com, where people can trade plants, seeds, cuttings, etc. But people post from all over the country and the world. It would be so much easier to trade plants with local people.

Why not try Craig's List <http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites%3E or FreeCycle <http://www.freecycle.org/%3E. These sites are divided into local groups and include postings to buy (not FreeCycle) or give away all sorts or items, including plants, seeds, gardening equipment, etc. I've enjoyed my association with FreeCycle and used it more than Craig's List.

Try joining a local garden club.
