I agree with part of the above answer, but not the part about putting grease on the battery terminals before reconnecting the cables. Grease is a non-conductor, so you should only clean the terminals and the insides of the cable clamps before reconnecting them. THEN put the grease all over the clamps and terminals to stop the corrosion. While you're under the hood, check all the wiring connections you can see, and include the spark plug cables where they attach to the plugs. If any are the least bit loose, remove them and pinch the end gently with a pair of pipe pliers so they will sit more firmly on the plug terminals.

Check the battery. The cable, or cables, may be loose. When you tighten them up, make sure there is no white powder on the terminals. If so, get a tube of axle grease from the local auto parts store and remove the terminals, wipe grease all over them and put them back on the battery.
