How many points do i need to get to level two on my profile here?

Levels are another way to keep track of how active you (and others) have been. The more points you accumulate, the higher your level. Yahoo! Answers recognises your level achievements with our special brand of thank you's!

And finally, as you attain higher levels, you'll also be able to contribute more to Yahoo! Answers - you can ask, answer, vote and rate more frequently.

To reach level 2 you need 250 points. I'll give you some DOs and DON'Ts.

DOs

+ answer as many questions as you can(+ 2)

+ even though you shouldn't ask many questions in the first place, choose a "Best Answer" for your questions(+ 3)

+ log in to Y!A daily(+ 1)

+ vote for best answers(+ 1)

+ receive "Best Answer"(+ 10)

+ receive thumbs-up rating in case you get "Best Answer"(up to + 50)

+ take the quiz and pass successfully(+ 20)

+ choose a "Best of Answers" and hope that it will get selected(+ 100)

DON'Ts

- ask so much questions, especially ones you can research yourself(- 2)

- delete your answers(- 2)

- put your questions up for a vote(+ 0)

- vote for "No Best Answer"(+ 0)

- receive a violation for a question(- 10)

- receive a violation for an answer(- 12)

- lose a violation appeal(- 10)

Cassidi, you have 94 points to go. If you answer and vote up to your limits daily(and take the quiz), with out asking any more questions, then you will be at level 2 in less than or up to three days.

250 points, at the top of your screen go to About, click Points & Levels and this will explain how the system works.

When you click on your name, your activity page comes up and in a green box it says your level, how many points you have, how many points to get to next level, and points received this week.
