question about my tongue piercing, plz!?
it's day 5 since the piercing and it's still swollen. i use non alcoholic antiseptic for my mouth, i brush my teeth, i use salt water and chew ice. what else is there to do? what has helped you? patience is all i got now...

Im 12 and mine was swollen for 13 days I just swished my mouth with salt and warm water and I chewed alot of ice

Don't chew ice, it can be irritated by this action, instead drink iced water, but don't use a straw.
They're quite often swollen and sore for a fortnight, but anything longer than this is considered to be abnormal, in which case, got back to your piercer. If it hurts too much to bear then you can crush up aspirin, mix it into a paste with a tiny bit of water and put it on either side of the piercing, which will increase blood flow, often making it throb, but making it less painful overall.
I'm afraid it's just one of those things that have to be endured.
Well done for such a good cleaning regime though.
