Facebook Mobile and Online?
If i'm on Facebook on my iPhone, is there any possible way to know i'm on while the other person is using it on the desktop using the same account? I intend to strictly look at the messages once they've been opened already by the desktop user and not open them myself.

If your facebook is logged on in two different places (this includes two computers or any other means you can access facebook with) facebook will send a text message saying that someone logged onto facebook at a certain time, on a certain computer and in some rare cases it will tell you where in the world they are (this is what happened when someone hacked my account from a totally different country...)
I think they also send you an email.
So if the person gets facebook texts they will know. If they read all of their emails they will know....

i'd advise basically staying off for the reason which you will properly be charged for soemthings. And to deliver photos you are able to have limitless photograph messaging. there is an probability they're going to see your quantity it extremely is why i dont use facebook cellular.
