Will carrying my MacBook too much hurt it?

If you can't carry a laptop, then what good is it? Carrying it will not hurt it - dropping it will.

Ideally you should keep it in a laptop sleeve inside your backpack. These offer a little extra cushioning and prevent scratches on the case. But as the other person mentioned, laptops are ment to be carried around. Your also lucky the laptops don't have feelings, hence they cannot get hurt. Otherwise I am sure it would complain being carried around all day inside a dark, enclosed backpack. What would happen if the Laptop was claustrophobic and could talk? You would never hear the end of it.

I had no intention of schooling you in English. Whats the harm in adding a little fun to an answer? Hurt of course is perfectly acceptable usage, as it does mean "To cause Physical Injury" when used as a noun and I am sure that is what you meant.

I have carried my laptop with me to class (I also have a backpack with a laptop compartment) and I have never had a problem with it. If you want to be extra careful, why don't you slip the Macbook into one of those neoprene laptop sleeves and then insert that in the backpack section. I think you will be okay though.
