Hay prices................?

I am considering moving and curious about how much hay and grain cost in certain areas of the US. The places I am considering moving to are Southern California, Northern Virginia and Maryland. If anyone can give me some average prices for hay and grain (and also boarding if available) that would be great. I do realize prices vary greatly from town to town but this is just for me to get a general idea. Thanks in advance.

I am in central California and hay is around $17-21 a bale and that's in the middle of dairy country. If your looking for around LA I'm sure the pieces will be higher. Boarding around here is about $125 a month for your average stable-not including feed

I know you weren't considering Texas, but our Coastal Hay is $7-8 a bale and I feed my horse Safe & Sound and it is $12/bag. Same prices in San Antonio, and Brazos Valley.
