How would giving Corporations more money, as the Conservatives want?

encourage more jobs, when they have had no restrictions yet regarding their taxes and loopholes, etc. and our employment rate is falling more and more each week?

Even with all the loopholes they have now and tax benefits, Corporations are still not hiring. Why pay into something that can't give of itself because there are no jobs to give?

Update:

McNamara: The Conservative. They say that by putting more money, etc. into corporations, it will encourage them to hire more people. But if they aren't hiring now, or haven't been for years, why would they now? There are no jobs. They're all overseas.

They won't it's a lie sold to republican voters

The republicans in the government are brought by big business and they use Obama as a scapegoat saying he's the reason there are no jobs

despite the fact corporations were shipping jobs overseas long before Obama was elected

American corporations are targeting countries overseas for their workforce and consumption of their products. This has been the plan for quite awhile, and it's not changing because these same corporations do not see answers here in the U.S. They don't care if you don't like it, they're are going to do what they need to do to survive and grow. Will they hire Americans? Enough to save face perhaps, but overall, the American percentage of workers in American corporations is declining, as it will continue to do so.

Gather together a bunch of friends, pool your money and lease a storefront space or a website and experience how little the economy has to offer. Giving Corporations more money (any money) will solve nothing, as they do not care about the future of America, they only care about their oversea markets and surviving. The U.S. Government needs a backbone beyond the military, money given to Corporations (like the many American Banks received) needs to have strict enforceable and public declaration of what business actions that help the American economy (here physically, not overseas) must be done in order for the given Corporation to receive any money *in any situation*. This should be standard beyond repayment. Otherwise the deal should never happen. But it did happen, and now look where we are.

They should have hired a weasel like Madoff to get as much return out of the Banks as possible, then the American economy might not be such a disaster. But seriously, did they do anything sensible? No, of course not, they (the American Government) didn't run that deal with any sense or foresight whatsoever.

Keep agreeing with them (the political games in Washington), by doing nothing. Don't call, don't write, don't go on any show and mention it, and goodness forbid, don't vote after you actually think about what is good for the long term of America, a country where hundreds of thousands of our brethren have died for to keep us free, maintain justice, allow liberty, and the light of happiness.

No, don't do nothing. Just sit there. Complain. Read this and go back to work (if you have a job), or go back to sleep (depending on others for survival), or go back to watching TV (Idiocracy might foretell where this leads), or go back to playing video games (should kids be worried if they have a future?).

Just sit there. Until that seat becomes a pile of cardboard boxes. Or if you are one of the lucky few: Just sit there in your Limo and let your private police mow down the angry mob of homeless people charging out of the alley towards you. After all, they are less than you, the gall of them to ruin your entrance into your favorite restaurant? Piss-ants they are, not deserving of life. Feed them to the dogs.

Either way, it's a bleak future. Homelessness will become standard. The insane will walk the streets. Starvation will be prevalent. Markets will crumble. Violence will become a way of life, for everyone. Very few will survive through this coming future, comfortably, if at all. People will die, many people.

Cardboard boxes for a seat does not sound comfortable. But neither does having to hire extra security and pay for so many more guns, ammo and barracks to protect your private empire because of bloody mobs rioting in the street. Mobs who would rather shoot you, than ever give you an ounce of respect that you may deserve.

But that's all ok. Just sit there, don't work on anything. Definitely don't think too much, it might cause cancer. Just sit there. Let all of America's hard work and strong history go straight down to ashes. Because as we all know, it's our inherit self-entitled right to commit suicide as a country. Yes suicide, because it is your fault. And my fault, and every Americans fault. A country committing suicide is presently the reality for America.

    "But what could we do?"

You could stand up and do something to help.

The rich are smarter than the neo-cons. The right told us that if we gave them money, they'd create jobs. Now the rich are sitting on that free money and not creating jobs BECAUSE THEY KNOW THE KNUCKLEHEADS WILL GIVE THEM EVEN MORE FREE MONEY! It's incredible. The poor and infirm are at fault for the economy, but the rich are hoarding trillions. You don't even need a calculator to figure out which side is pretty unintelligent.

They had opportunity to do so, but instead they hired cheap labor through illegal immigration instead of giving Americans jobs (Jobless Americans), and then afterwards wanted a bill passed to send Immigrants back to Mexico. They practically used the Mexicans for cheap labor and then did them dirty afterwards by trying to send them back to Mexico. While the Mexicans were smart and sent their money back to Mexico because the American dollar was worth more than pesos, so they helped out their families back home in Mexico. The money did not stay in the U.S., it went elsewhere through the Mexicans. Now they're upset (Republicans) and want to get rid of the Mexicans. The Mexicans aren't stupid. Now they want more money to build corporations? Really? I could never trust them again because they cost American jobs at their own greedy expense, by denying us jobs during that time with the immigration situation. Now they are getting their Karma, by the Mexicans and the poor peoples of America.

The corporations finance both parties in campaigns. So no matter who gets elected, that person works for the corporations, and the rich who control them, not for The People.

If giving more money to corporations, both in tax cuts and loopholes and also in direct govt. subsidies (hundreds of billions a year!) was going to employ more Americans, we would be the most employed people in the world. It's been a spectacular failure for 30 years now. But news operations, also owned and funded by corporations, somehow don't notice it. 8^)

And, of course, my favorite argument (because it's obviously true): Yes, subsidizing corporations DOES create millions of jobs! Just not HERE.

Where do you get this stuff from? And have you forgotten "too big to fail?" I believe that was a line parroted by both sides.

GM, GE, Goldman Sachs, Chrysler, none of this rings a bell? Your boy has poured billions of our dollars into these zombie corporations.

So why you blaming just the one side?

The prime factor to consider is the Bush Tax Cut. It has been in place for ten years. In those ten years; we have lost more jobs, only second to the Great Depression. Sometimes one doesn't need to have a PH D in Economics but simple common sense.

It won't. They just don't want a corporate jet tax loop hole moved. Right now they collect tax breaks own owning private jets that was made for airlines that transport the public. The Wealthy CEO's have magical genies that can have them paying no taxes at all through loop holes.

Source(s): Bluechristy you are a moron. Open your eyes. The Corporations are considered LEGAL humans and have human rights. This is what has given them so much power over the decades. They have become this huge monster that destroy anything that gets in their way. Their main purpose is PROFIT and influence. They want you buying all of their products or using all of their services. It's not just a group of people it's a giant organization with resources beyond what any 'group of people' could have individually. All of those resources can be aimed to take someone out or to silence any opposes especially a single human being. No one should have that much power yet the CEO's of the biggest Corporations do. Rupert Murdoch is just an example of how a corporation can literally have people murdered into silence.

"They say that by putting more money, etc. into corporations"

"They" say no such thing. Quit making up things conservatives say.

"Even with all the loopholes they have now and tax benefits, Corporations are still not hiring. "

    Because of Obama's overregulation.

There's more than a slight difference between giving them more money and letting them keep more of their own money. Not clear why the left doesn't see that.
