Upcoming medical test at my doctors?
I am off for a Cholesterol test etc next Thursday. I have not been told to fast. Is this correct or should I call the surgery. I thought you had to fast.

As its unlikely you would eat after midnight you dont have to worry about fasting.
All they will be doing is taking blood. You do not to be fasted for that.

Don't fast. Just eat and drink normally. Fasting would definitely mess up the levels of everything in your blood.
Saying all that, maybe there is some special reason they would want you to fast beforehand so just in case something special is going on, give them a ring to check so you don't waste your and their time.
