Any Americans having second thoughts about the "separation of powers" in their constitution?

I'm talking about the debt ceiling issue obviously. The British-derived parliamentary systems have their own glitches but they don't get the executive-legislative deadlock that seems to plague the US.

No second thoughts here.In the British system, the ruling party has to win every vote in parliament or the government collapses. At least when Americans disagree our government doesn't fall apart.(Really! When are you Anglo-philes going to stop pretending the British are superior to Americans?)
